Technology consulting in Puerto Rico for small businesses
Not sure what your business needs, or whether a vendor's proposal makes sense? We look at how your operation runs and give you a clear, prioritized plan: what to fix, what to automate, what to buy, and what it's worth.
When you need advice more than another tool
Most small businesses don’t have a technology problem so much as a decision problem. There are too many options, each vendor says their product is the answer, and nobody inside the business has the time or background to compare them. So decisions get made on price, on a friend’s recommendation, or not at all.
Technology consulting gives you someone on your side of the table. We have no product to sell you. Our job is to understand how your business runs and tell you, plainly, what will make the biggest difference for the money.
How it works
It starts with a visit. We watch how work actually moves through your business: how a job or client comes in, who touches it, where information gets retyped, and where things fall through the cracks. We review the systems you already pay for, because often the right tool is one you already own and aren’t fully using.
Then you get the plan. It’s a short, written document in plain language that ranks every recommendation by impact and cost. Some items are quick fixes. Some are projects worth planning for. Some are things you were told you needed that you can skip. Many plans include at least one process that could be handled by AI automation, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth doing now.
If you decide to move ahead, we can help you choose vendors, review their proposals and oversee the work until it’s finished and your team is using it.
Built around the way you work
A service business running quotes and scheduling through WhatsApp and spreadsheets needs a different plan than a construction company tracking permits and change orders between the office and the job site, or an accounting firm trying to get through tax season without chasing documents. We don’t use a template. The plan reflects your business, your team and your budget.
What's included
Technology assessment
We spend time in your business, talk to your team and review the systems you use today, from email and accounting software to spreadsheets and paper.
A prioritized roadmap
A written plan that ranks each step by impact and cost, with rough timelines, so you know what to do first and what can wait.
Vendor and software selection
We compare the options for what you need, ask vendors the hard questions, and tell you which one fits your size and budget, or if none do.
Second opinion on proposals
Already have a quote for a new system, network or website? We review it and tell you in plain language whether it's reasonable and what's missing.
Project oversight
When a project starts, we coordinate the vendors, track deadlines and check the work, so you can stay focused on your business.
What you walk away with
A plan you can read in one sitting
No jargon and no hundred-page report. A short document that says what to do, in what order, and why.
Decisions based on your business, not a sales pitch
We start from how your business runs, recommend only what pays for itself, and tell you when something isn't worth doing.
Money spent in the right order
Fixing the foundation before buying new tools means you stop paying for software nobody uses or projects that stall halfway.
Industries we help with this
Service businesses
Quotes, scheduling and invoicing out of WhatsApp and spreadsheets, so jobs get booked and paid without chasing.
Construction
Bids out faster, permits and subcontractor papers tracked, and nothing lost between the office and the job site.
Accounting
Client documents collected and entered without the chase, especially when tax season arrives.
Questions about technology consulting
What does a technology consultant actually do for a small business?
We act as your technology advisor. We figure out what's slowing your business down, decide what's worth fixing, help you choose the right tools and make sure projects get done properly. You get the judgment of an IT director without hiring one.
How much does consulting cost?
It depends on the size of your operation and what you want to look at, so we don't publish prices. The first call is free. If it makes sense to go further, you get a written quote for the assessment before any work starts.
Do we have to hire you to carry out the plan?
No. The plan is yours. Many clients ask us to implement it, but you can hand it to your own team or another vendor.
We've had vendors sell us things we didn't need. How do we know you won't?
Our recommendations come with the reason and the expected payoff in writing. If something isn't worth the money for a business your size, we say so, even when it means less work for us.
How long does an assessment take?
For most small businesses, the visit and conversations take one or two days, and you get the written plan within two weeks. We agree on the timeline before we start.
Let's talk about your business.
A 20-minute call. No sales pitch. You'll leave with at least one idea you can use.
Free first call, no obligation. In English or Spanish.
